Illuminating the past – Enhancing the present – Inspiring the future

Discharging planning conditions

You or your client has been granted planning permission by the local authority, but there are conditions attached that need discharging before the development can go ahead.

One of these says something like: “No development shall take place within the area indicated until the applicant has secured the implementation of a programme of archaeological work in accordance with a written scheme of investigation which has been submitted by the applicant and approved by the Planning Authority.”

It can be confusing, but this is precisely where we can help.

We know what has to be done and offer a complete, simple, solution:

  • Liaising with Council planning and archaeological officers to determine the required scheme of work;
  • Undertaking all necessary fieldwork;
  • Conducting post-excavation analysis;
  • Completing documentation and writing the required reports.

For peace of mind, don’t delay – call us right away and we’ll do the rest.
