Thanet Earth, Brooksend near Monkton:
A beautifully preserved Bronze Age 'Beaker burial' found at the centre of a double ring-ditch, the remains of a burial mound.
The tip of a copper alloy object is visible beneath the right shoulder,
a stone wrist guard lies beneath the left upper arm and a ceramic 'beaker' (sadly, crushed) lies at the feet.
