These two books were written as a joint venture with local school-teacher, Andy Harmsworth, as general interest books for children in the 9-14 age range. Though first published in 1994 and 2001 respectively, much of the material within them is still useful for teachers of the National Curriculum at Key Stages 2 and 3.
