The creation of this site is the result of a partnership between the former National Grid for Learning (NGfL), Kent County Council (KCC) Education and Libraries and Canterbury Archaeological Trust (CAT). The Trust has always aimed to promote Archaeology in both the formal and public education arenas. Funding from NGfL enabled CAT to make the results of its work even more accessible by means of this website. Of particular note is CAT's role in the Archaeology in Education Service established to help meet the needs of the county's educational establishments. The service is supported principally by Kent Archaeological Society, Friends of Canterbury Archaeological Trust and Kent County Council's ASK team. |
