Illuminating the past – Enhancing the present – Inspiring the future

A Town Unearthed(ATU) Folkestone's vanishing villa

Canterbury Archaeological Trust is committed to encouraging enthusiasts and providing opportunities for people to get involved. Wherever possible we welcome volunteers to help both on excavations and in the finds shed and we have an active ‘Friends‘ organisation.

We will soon be launching our new CAT Courses through which we will offer the general public wide access to the Trust’s resources, particularly in the area of archaeological education and training. We are currently playing host to our first Community Archaeology training placement sponsored by the Council for British Archaeology. Follow her busy year on her blog.

For more information about how you might get involved, contact Andrew Richardson or follow us on Facebook or Twitter (@CantArchTrust).
