Annual Reports

The following listing is intended as a guide to sites and topics which have been published in the Trust’s annual reports since 1975. Reports up to 2002 also publish the annual accounts and details of committees and other administrative matters. Since 1984 there has been a report on the activities of the Friends of the Canterbury Archaeological Trust. Through the 1980s Mrs Lyle reported on her work as Honorary Education Officer and since 1990 Marion Green has outlined the activities of the Archaeology in Education Service.

In early issues the ‘behind the scenes’ work of the Trust was covered by summary lists of sites processed during the year. As the unit has grown, notes on special finds or results of research have been published in more detail and where appropriate these items are included in the listing.
