How to find us

To reach us by car

From London via the M2 and A2 you will approach the city on Rheims Way. Cross the first roundabout, turn right at the second and straight over the third, fourth and fifth, following the line of the city wall. A short way ahead you will see a car park on the left. This is the closest car park to the Trust. The office is then a short walk away beyond the terrace displaying a mural.

From Dover the city is best approached down the New Dover Road (leave the A2 at the first signed exit to Canterbury). At the cinema roundabout turn right and follow the above directions to the car park.

From Herne Bay and Thanet the A28 approaches the town by Military Road. The Trust is on the right just beyond a sharp bend with the Diocesan and Payne Smith facing. Park in the city wall car park some 300 metres ahead on the right.

By rail

Canterbury East is the closest railway station with lines from London Victoria and to Dover. Cross the footbridge, turn right onto the city wall walk and follow the walls until you reach the Trust (less than 10 minutes' walk). Canterbury West links Canterbury with London Charing Cross and Waterloo and Thanet. From Canterbury West enter the city at the Westgate, turn immediately left and follow Pound Lane and St Radigund's Street to the junction with Northgate street. The Jolly Sailor is on the corner of Broad Street and Northgate. The Trust offices are on the right hand side beyond the school at the far end of Broad Street where the road has become part of the ring road (some 20 minutes' walk).
